Beef Bone Broth

A simple recipe for beef bone broth that doesn't take too much time to prepare other than the cooking time itself. The cooking time is optional, as a rule of thumb, the longer it cooks the more jelly-like the broth is. But in general, for beef bones, you may want to cook it at least for 24 hours.

Equipment

  • 1 Pot

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 6 pieces beef bones
  • 1 tsp pink salt
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar

Instructions
 

  • Add water and bones to pot
  • Add 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • Let it sit for 10 minutes
  • Bring the whole pot to a boil
  • Turn the heat to low just to let it simmer
  • Add garlic to the water
  • Let it cook for at least 24 hours
  • Once done, you can strain the broth to several mason jar
  • Finish the broth within a few days

Notes

Preparation time varies.
If you want to get an extra flavor, it's highly recommended to bake the bones first. You can follow the Baked Bone Marrow recipe to do so. It would add roughly about 30 minutes to bake/roast the bones.
There's only about a 10-minute preparation time. Just to make it simple, we assume that you have roasted the bones (if preferred).
